All local IP's show "pi.hole" / hostname of the server

Hello,

Afer the upgrade to 6.x, the webui now shows all local client IP's as the hostname of the server, regardless of custom DNS or /etc/hosts entries. Prior to this release, it would list/display them using the hostname assigned to that particular IP, which made seeing client traffic easier in graphs, etc.

How can I avoid the new behavior of having the hostname of the server shown for all local IPs?

As requested by our help template, please generate a debug log, upload the log when prompted and post the token URL here.

Also, please provide additional details on the problem. Screenshots, log entries, etc.

In this forum you can directly paste (or upload from a local file) a screen shot directly into your reply.

Sure thing. Debug token here: https://tricorder.pi-hole.net/QsDTnIFj/
What I see is

Prior to v6 I would see the interface name or custom DNS (I don't remember). But now the clients names show pi.hole

Even though I have those IP's in /etc/hosts and List of local DNS records

Here's another debug since I guess that last one expired https://tricorder.pi-hole.net/wvBnvhOT/
