"All-Around DNS Solution" not working

Hi, I followed the guide on Redirecting... but it seems that this does not work on Debian ?

I can't even tell if the test was successful or not, as the guide does not tell much how a successful connection does look like. But I assume its failing.

dig pi-hole.net @127.0.0.1 -p 5353

I guess the status: SRVFAIL is what you are looking for ? Not sure what I've done wrong, as I followed the instruction.

Any help is much appreciated

Can be ignored.

This was caused by my firewall redirecting every DNS request to itself to prevent clients asking a different DNS server then configured by me.
