After update, FTL not updated, DNS not running, and is not blocking ads

Expected Behaviour:

Tried an update to V4

Actual Behaviour:

The PiHole version updated, the web interface version updated, but FTL would not update. Additionally, it say "DNS service not running" and it is NOT blocking ads now. I have tried the update a second time, same result. I have rebooted the Pi, same result.

There have been many threads about this. Usually, temporarily setting a different upstream and running a repair helps.

Edit /etc/resolv.conf with an external DNS server instead of localhost, then run pihole -r to repair.
