Hi all. Posting to seek some clarification. I’ve been noticing various adult content websites showing up on my Pihole query log (mainly pornhub.com, various iterations of phncdn.com, xvideos.com, etc). This traffic is coming from a few different known devices on my secure network (PC, laptop, etc). Is there any explanation as to why these queries are showing up in the logs other than that the devices are being used to access these adult sites? Serious feedback appreciated!
Well, as you're asking for a serious reply: It does not necessarily mean that those devices have been used to access these sites. However, it definitely means that these devices have requested information for how to access these pages.
Obviously, it makes no sense to request information if the page is not about to get visited afterwards so the answer to your question is No.
