4th gen appletv is making tons of requests even when it is "sleeping"

I am seeing a 4th gen apple tv making tons of requests in pihole's log even when it is "sleeping." Approx 22,000 requests in the past 24. When I export that list and do an analysis of it, here is what I am seeing (last 10 entries):

If I analyze the entire log for the device over the past 24 hours, it looks like the following. The first column is the number of requsts and the 2nd one is the domain name it used.

      2 _aaplcache._tcp.lan
      2 _aaplcache1._tcp.lan
      2 _aaplcache2._tcp.lan
      2 _aaplcache3._tcp.lan
      2 _aaplcache4._tcp.lan
      3 local
   6937 lb._dns-sd._udp.0.7.9.10.in-addr.arpa
   6937 lb._dns-sd._udp.lan
   6985 _dns.resolver.arpa
  1. what are these addresses with the high numbers?
  2. Why is this device hitting them so frequently and why when it is sleeping?

I found out what is going on: the appletv is acting as a homekit server. To stop the behavior, log out of icloud on the device. I did not expect this, thanks to pi-hole for discovering something is up. Just another in the log line of stupid and undocumented features apple quietly pushes out to users.
