3.3 Breaks Web Interface Logging

SOLVED
I needed to rename /etc/pihole-FTL.db and use pihole -r to recreate. Functionality is restored albeit without any previous logs.

Problem
Since updating to 3.3 logging has ceased. The web interface shows 0 queries in the past 24 hours, and the logs show 0 requests. Pihole is in fact functional and blocking ads.

I have toggled "Disable/Enable query logging" in the web interface and run pihole -r. Also: upgrading for me required this workaround: Updated to v3.3; web UI thinks CORE still at v3.2.1 - #28 by Cito

pihole status shows:

 [✓] DNS service is running
 [✓] Pi-hole blocking is Enabled

I am running Stretch.
