Back in the mid 80's learned basic on the C64, dabbled in machine language, much later vbasic, perl than php. Had a few reasonably busy web sites, was the primary developer a game hosting provider startup, deployed servers all around the country, as IT was never my full time gig did most of my learning online and books. Been out of that game for decades but still love dipping my big toe in the water every once in a while
