VPN with unbound

Expected Behaviour:

_How to Install VPN with pi-hole and unbound as a recursive server utilizing DNSSEC _

Actual Behaviour:

Not sure how to install VPN on pi-hole or if it is feasible. I have pi-hole setup acting as a DHCP server with unbound. When I go through a vpn on a client computer I am not getting the benefits of the pi-hole ad filtering. I am new to this would like your feedback on my setup as well. Thanks

I run it like this for quite some time now (VPN for about a couple of years + unbound for about a year)
