Unifi Protect blocked externally by Pi-Hole

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

Expected Behaviour:

be able to access my Unifi Protect System Externally

Actual Behaviour:

I cannot access my home Unifi Protect system (NVR or cameras) if the computer, phone, or app i am using is outside of my network. Accessing the CK or using the Unifi Network android app works fine.

My google-fu has failed me, so I'm hoping the community can point me in the right direction.

After a few days of playing around I'm finding it is my Pi-Hole that seems to be blocking me from accessing Unifi Protect from an external device. If i set the CK or network's DNS to 8.8.8.8 there are no issues. However once I reset everything to route through the Pi-Hole, access ceases.

I've tried going this wiki: https://help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034238233-UniFi-Protect-Troubleshooting-Connectivity and have whitelisted device.svc.ubnt.com, device.amplifi.com, global.stun.twilio.com, global.turn.twilio.com .

What am I missing?
