Ran into this issue today and found this this thread.
Can confirm the issue is resolved in dev on devices with an ancient kernel.
Same here. Changing the password to blank got me in. Otherwise the container eventually crashed and stopped. On a Synology DS1817+ with an Atom C2538 processor with pihole version 6.04 pulled today.
EDIT: fix typo, added ph version.
This should now be fixed in Docker image 2025.03.0

Yeah, 2025.02.7. Typo. Thanks for pointing it out. I will correct. I pulled it early this afternoon US eastern, but will do a pull now and see what I get.
Just updated to the 2025.3.0 and can confirm passwords working now and the getrandom errors are gone in docker log
