Yes, I'm starting to think the router is the issue here, though much of it is locked down or at least I am not as familiar at resolving those issues. I will keep working on update here if I find any solution.

Edit 8/23/25: after some more digging and testing, setting up cloudflared got blocking up and running. Seems like my ISP doesn’t enjoy changing DNS but tunneling through works.
