Still update available message after updates

Hi,

I´m running Pihole 3.2.1 on a Raspberry 3 (Raspbian Jessie, Kernel 4.9.35) headless. Today I´ve experienced a weird behaviour from pihole after I´ve made a maintenance system update/cleanup.

The Webinterface tells me (Update available!) which should be version 3.3 (today, 19.02.18). Somehow sudo pihole -up shows that

Everything is up to date!

I´ve also tried a repair with sudo pihole -r, system update via sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y, reboot, browser switch, browser cache-cleanup but nothing worked so far :confused:

Pihole is working fine and I havn´t had any major problems in the past but somehow the update feature is buggy on my machine.

P.S:

The output of the webinterface debug-log-builder says

Your log will self-destruct on our server after 48 hours

On your website you post it´s only 24 hours. Which number is correct? Maybe you should update your duration :slight_smile:

I've updated that blog post. It was originally 24 hours, but we increased it to 48 hours. Try running these commands:

cd /etc/.pihole
sudo git fetch --tags
pihole updatechecker
