Not sure if it’s relevant. Am running Pihole on my Synology Nas. Just got my first smart tv and was wondering if there’s anything special, I need to do with Pihole settings? TIA

That depends on the brand/model (e.g. Samsung, LG,……). Could you please share which one you own? Some need specific whitelist entries to ensure streaming apps work, while others are known for tracking.

That is firetv based? Then start with this list:
[https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hagezi/dns-blocklists/main/domains/native.amazon.txt](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hagezi/dns-blocklists/main/domains/native.amazon.txt)
This will block telemetrie and tracking. Blocking ads is not possible, because it is delivered from the same servers as everything else.
If you use additional apps (netflix/disney/whatever) then search for blacklists for these apps.
