Just keep in mind that OS retrieval will again fail if one of your chosen blocklists for Pi-hole or your configured upstreams would block resolution of versions.pi-hole.net or parts thereof (which is the reason why the check explicitly asks the authoritative DNS server at ns1.pi-hole.net).
