Yes I did try just turing off just the DNS security tool and it worked but it still leaves both windows and AVG moaning about being insecure.
I also have another related issue on just the W11 machine. When I boot up, AVG often tells me that I have ports open and that my machines can be seen from the net. I haven’t had any ports open for over 10 years but did a quick sheilds up check just to be safe. It found nothing.
The same version of AVG on the W10 machine gave neither issue. I then found the W10 had basic protection and w11 had full protection. So for now I downgraded AVG W11 to Basic and it fixed all problems, at least so far.
