Pihole up / apt-get update failing

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

If you are Experiencing issues with a Pi-hole install that has non-standard elements (e.g you are using nginx instead of lighttpd, or there is some other aspect of your install that is customised) - please use the Community Help category.

Expected Behaviour:

When I attempt to up today, I received an error and was prompted to run apt-get update. This also failed. I'm running my instance on a RaspberryPi 3b+. OS info is:
PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)"
NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="9"
VERSION="9 (stretch)"
ID=raspbian
ID_LIKE=debian

Actual Behaviour:

pihole -up and apt-get update both fail.

Debug Token:

https://tricorder.pi-hole.net/8w062lmad1

Post the output please. We don't know what "fail" means without it.

Apologies! Didn't know if that was included in the Tricorder data:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo apt-get update
Hit:1 http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org/raspbian stretch InRelease
Hit:2 http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian stretch InRelease
Reading package lists... Done
FATAL -> Failed to fork.

That is an issue with the OS itself.

A quick search turned up memory - APT FATAL -> Failed to fork - Server Fault

Might be out of memory on the device?

Windows troubleshooting worked. rebooted the Pi and update completed. Sorry for the wasted time
