# Pihole on ubuntu 18.04 with unbound fails after some time

I did not purge. Just removed and reinstalled.
Is the version of unbound you run the version that ships with your distribution, or did you compile it locally?

I would go the reinstall route and see if that improves things. It can't hurt.

Reinstalling didnt work. I will ask the unbound guys. Thanks for your help @jfb!

I think I fixed it finally: librespot is also listening on port 5353 which didn't show up in `netstat`.. After changing the unbound port to something different, it is running stable for 24h.
