Pihole dashboard showing loading icons

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

I have installed pihole on centos 8 updated. It's a new install. pi-hole seems to be working however the webadmin/dashboard isn't.
In fact several other areas of dashboard isn't working.
When going to network section, i get the following error
unknown error has occurred while loading the data. Error connecting to the database

Seems like pihole-FTL isn't running

[root@pihole ~]# systemctl status pihole-FTL
