Pihole admin is ever disabled and Status Unknown

Expected Behaviour:

The status of Web Admin should be active all the time and the ENABLE button from the left navigation panel should not be there as the pihole has to be enabled by default

(a little background of my setup, I'm trying to install in my old Galaxy S5, OS is Ubuntu and I've set up a static IP for it)

Actual Behaviour:

When I click Enable it stays enabled until I just click on some other links from the same menu and the status goes back to unknown from active

How did you install Ubuntu on your Galaxy S5?

How are you running Ubuntu on a Galaxy?

Thanks for your time, I have Installed Ubuntu using Linux Deploy app, it took many attempts and a lot of troubleshooting before I post it here.
