# PiHole "active' but not blocking ads

Issue was solved by following these instructions: [Beaglebone - ads not being blocked (I searched the forums!) - #15 by deHakkelaar](https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/beaglebone-ads-not-being-blocked-i-searched-the-forums/14659/15)

especially about the rogue dnsmasq rogue file SoftAp0 needs to be deleted.
