Newb here but I registered just to post that I too have been experiencing very frequent crashes, not for lighttpd but for FTL beginning with 4.2 on ubuntu. Never had a single crash in a couple of years before 4.2. Will try to get logs on the next crash.
Since yours is not a ligttpd crash, this is a separate issue and moved to a new thread.
Please generate and upload a debug log, and post the token here.
The crash frequency is several times a day see the log output below:
