Pi-hole Speedtest v6: an unofficial connection history companion

I wanted a way to see my internet connection’s speed and latency history alongside my Pi-hole dashboard, so I built a small, independent companion for Pi-hole v6.

It runs the official Ookla CLI on a configurable schedule, saves measurements in SQLite, and shows download, upload, latency, and jitter in charts you can zoom. You can also run a test manually and export the history as CSV. The Overview and Setup pages are available from the Pi-hole sidebar, while collection and storage run as a separate service.

Version 1.0.6 is my first production release. I’ve tested the install, repeat install, uninstall, and reinstall on my Raspberry Pi running Pi-hole v6, including preservation of settings and measurement history. That is one real-world setup, and I’d welcome feedback from people using other supported hosts.

The source, installation instructions, and checksum verification steps are here:

This is an independent community project, not an official Pi-hole feature. If you try it, I’d especially appreciate hearing whether the charts are useful and how the sidebar behaves in your HTTP or HTTPS setup. Bugs and suggestions are welcome in the repository’s issues.
