A lot of work goes into developing and maintaining Pi-hole. We thought many of you might be interested in how we do just that. We have a lot of different technologies and some amazing talent that helps keep the project alive. We also thought it would be fun for the community to get to know us a bit better. That’s what this series will aim to do. The format will be similar to Lifehacker’s How I Work series, if you’re familiar.
As you may or may not know, we’re all volunteers on the project, which means we all have full time jobs, families, and other responsibilities outside of Pi-hole. This is quite common in the open source community, but we thought it would be fun to offer some insight into things we’ve developed and technologies we use to keep things running.
We plan to spotlight each developer, and then to delve a bit deeper into specifics about the technology and resources that go into keeping Pi-hole alive and well.
