Pi hole not blocking youtube ads

Blocking ads on YouTube is not possible with Pi-hole. Lot have tried, all failed in the long run.
YouTube serves ads from the same domain as video content. Therefore, it is not blockable on DNS level.

How do I block ads on YouTube?

Update 2020-10-24 It's not likely that you'll be able to block in-video ads with Pi-hole.
