Pi-Hole not blocking ads or blocked sites after factory resetting WiFi network

Expected Behaviour:

Ads and sites on blocklists being blocked.

  • Raspberry Pi OS
  • Raspberry Pi 3 B+

Actual Behaviour:

Web interface states that queries are being blocked but ads still pop up and so do websites that are on the block list. I recently factory reset my network but I did point it to the Pi-Hole as the DNS server like before. I am probably the least knowledgeable person in this forum I just followed a Tom's Hardware guide to setup the Pi-Hole a while back and I have never had a problem until recently.

I guess we can close this one out, it just started working all of a sudden. I didn't change anything, it wasn't working one day and was the next.
