I set up Wireguard on my RPi 4 (running Raspbian Buster) which already had Pi-Hole installed. The download was smooth.
Before downloading Wireguard, my Pi-Hole was able to block ads on a network-level, since I pointed my router's dns to my pi.
However, ever since downloading Wireguard, pi-hole only works when you are connected via VPN, and no longer network level.
I have tried various methods on this forum such as listening to all interfaces, removing stray conf files like 02-pihole.conf, etc, but to no avail. Would love some help on this as I've been stuck on it for hours. Thanks!
With this, wireguard definitely works both locally and from remote (whereas this is almost the same as distant devices are included in the local network).
Hi, yes I did. I finally decided to uninstall pihole and re-install, and now PiHole is working on both network level and via VPN. Thanks for the reply regardless, appreciate it!
