i am looking to get pi hole working with lan cache on my zim server both using to ip 192.168.0.146 and not changing the compose of my pihole

Expected Behaviour:

Pretty sure OP is referring to this: LanCache.NET

As far as I remember that project requires usage of their DNS server to redirect CDN domains to it so it can actually cache the data.
