Pi Hole isn't blocking my ads

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

Expected Behaviour:

[After initial set up of pi hole has been successfully completed, Ads should be blocked after configuring my DNS server to 192.168.1.73 (The IP address of my Pi Hole) on my LAN IP Settings (not WAN) after flushing my DNS and restarting my router as well.]

Actual Behaviour:

[0 queries have been blocked by Pi Hole. Tested on several devices. ]

Debug Token:

From one of these clients, what is the output of this command from the command prompt or terminal on that client?

nslookup pi.hole

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Server: 127.0.0.1
Address: 127.0.0.1#53

Name: pi.hole
Address: 192.168.1.73
Name: pi.hole
Address: 2001:56a:7308:b00:f18b:7d81:b1cd:9303

Was this command run directly on the client or while in a ssh session to Pi-Hole?

Through SSH

Run the command on the client directly (not via ssh to Pi-Hole) and post the output.

By client, you mean 192.168.1.73/admin?

No. We want to see what DNS is being used by the network device that is seeing ads. That is the client in question.

Server: node-1w7jr9n24twqzs2cg5ed4tjkj.ipv6.telus.net
Address: 2001:568:ff09:10c::53

*** node-1w7jr9n24twqzs2cg5ed4tjkj.ipv6.telus.net can't find pi.hole: Non-existent domain

This device is not using Pi-Hole as DNS server. It is using an IPV6 DNS that appears to be from your ISP. I would disable IPv6 on your router and renew the lease on the client.

That worked! Thank you so much!
