Pi-hole hostname resolves to 127.0.1.1 from a client

Its just that I am used to supplying all the names (short, long etc) on that one single line in the hosts file eg:

127.0.1.1 ph5a.dehakkelaar.nl ph5a.dehakkelaar ph5a

Using 127.0.1.1 specifically seems to have been necessary in the past to avoid a potential glitch with certain software.
However, for "a system with a permanent IP address, that permanent IP address should be used here instead of 127.0.1.1" (quoted from Debian docs on hostname resolution).
