Pi Hole as the DNS unable to resolve domains

What are the outputs of

ls -lh /etc/pihole

ls -lh /var/log | grep pihole

@jfb @DanSchaper

Thanks for your help so far, even though it's still not resolved. I'm going out of town for about two weeks, but I'll be back at it when I return and I'll ping you then.

@jfb @DanSchaper

I am back from vacation.

I went to run jfb's latest commands and somehow my password was lost/forgotten/whatever and I couldn't get it to reset using instructions I found online, so I ended up completely reinstalling the OS and reconfiguring it. However, I used all the same settings as laid out in the aforementioned tutorial I linked in the original post.

I still ended up having all the same issues as before. The thing just will not resolve anything. Anyway, here's the output from jfb's latest command suggestions.

ls -lh /etc/pihole

I'm getting to the point where I feel like maybe pihole just isn't a valid option for me for some reason and I should just stick with browser-level ad blockers which have never given me any issues.

Please generate a new debug log and post the token.

@jfb

Here's that debug log you requested. Since I can't resolve domains, it simply can't upload the log anywhere, so I've copy and pasted it below.

It's currently set to use Cloudflare DNS (as recommended by the guide I used) and it's set to " Listen on all interfaces, permit all origins."

Debug log removed by moderator and made private.

@jfb - I just noticed that a moderator removed the debug log and made it private. Are you unable to see it now?
