seems i jumped the gun (believing it worked flawlessly), i believe pi hole and raspberry are set up correctly, and it seems most ads are blocked, i believe it is with my modem, can you please check my dns setting - the ip ending in 17 is the raspberry - any help appreciated
had my son look it over, discovered the raspberry was plugged into eth2 (modem told us) so changed to the 1 port (which is eth0) and it seems to fix the problem (fingers crossed)
no reply, i think i have found the problem (2 ip addresses), internet shows it as a known problem, will post a new thread as no-one probably see's this one. (or maybe they are so busy with virus)
