New PI OS released (bullseye)

As the new PI OS "bullseye" is released since end of Oct I'd need a recommendation by the dev team if it makes sense to start an OS update in respect of compatibility issues with Pihole and Unbound.

Is the combination working "as expected" ?
Is it recommended to wait for adaptations in Pihole sw ?

Please advice.
Thank you

Cheers

See Can i Update to Buster?
Answers there would apply analogously to Bullseye.

Thanks!
For the time being I'll stick to buster until furter informaton comes out.

I run 5 instance of Raspberry Pi OS with unbound and no issues.

I updated pihole & unbound to bullseys using this commands:
https://www.linuxmaker.com/tutorials/upgrade-von-debian-10-buster-zu-debian-11-bulleye.html

Unbound also updated to 1.13.1

All went fine.

Today I disabled resolvconf as described in the (updated) PiHole Unbound documentation

Disable resolvconf for unbound (optional)

https://docs.pi-hole.net/guides/dns/unbound/
