# More than 2 DNS servers?

Would it be possible to have an 'Add' button in the gui settings page for dns servers so you can add as many as you like?  
I find that different times of day different servers respond better - it would be good if i could list say 6 servers without using Unbound

Should be simple to implement? im sure theres a config file one could edit but be nice in the GUI for the regular user

You can already add as many servers as you like to. Do you mean you want more than the four custom DNS server fields?

In the absence of this feature, you can edit file _ **/etc/pihole/setupVars.conf** _ and add as many DNS servers as you like. Then restart pihole-FTL.

Follow the existing format and add additional lines as needed.

```auto
PIHOLE_DNS_1=9.9.9.11
PIHOLE_DNS_2=149.112.112.11
...

```
