You got a corrupted database, this is causing all the problemes. You could try to repair it, or just move/delete the old database.

Somehow your database got corrupted (power outages?). You could try to repair it (/etc/pihole/pihole-ftl.db) Or (might be easier) delete/remove it and start fresh over: sudo service pihole-FTL stop sudo mv /etc/pihole/pihole-FTL.db /etc/pihole/pihole-FTL_old.db sudo service pihole-FTL start

Such errors are usually happen due to EOL SD-Cards or sudden power losses which lead to filesystem errors. Do you have a proper power supply for your device?

Don‘t take it by heart but before the update this did not happen and yes, power supply is more then sufficient and so card is fresh.

Do you really say two people after one update in one day is just random?

some hours later the dns connection was lost and I had no chance to connect to the internet. I needed to restart dns.

Running commands that were not asked for you to run will cause you to have a bad time.

I don't have any suggestions for you. If you want to copy paste commands that may make your situation even worse then go right ahead. If you want to throw attitude then you can do what ever your dear heart desires.

It is not about throwing attitudes it is to find a solution "together"...

It is very easy for me to roll back but this does not solve the issue since from my perspective I am not the only one having that issue and this is not related to my SD Card.

I considered to find a solution together and if there is a bugfix you can rollout for more people...
