Hi,

My pihole works intermittently throughout the day, even if I did not change any settings on it. When it is not working no connected devices can access the internet or the admin page. I can however access it via SSH and the admin page through the VPN. Pihole is running on a raspberry pi zero w.

I have a ubiquiti access point that most devices connect to wirelessly. This is wired into the router which has DHCP turned off. The Raspberry pi connects to the router wirelessly.

Often performing a restart of the pi gets everything working again. Sometimes it needs the power pulling out and putting back in again, sometimes more than once.

This is the debug log which I took when it was not working, but I could still access it via ssh. https://tricorder.pi-hole.net/f72buvd6e0!

Any help would be great. Thanks

Debug Token:

I don't see that debug token on the server. They expire after 48 hours, so try making another.

When it's not working, share the output of these commands:

service pihole-FTL status
service lighttpd status

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at some posts and happened to see one about the power requirement. So I have just changed the power plug from a 0.8A one to 1.9A plug and it has been consistent for 24 hours now...much longer than it has been for a while! I'm going to keep checking it but I hope that simple fix has sorted the issue.

If it goes back to what it was I'll post a new reply. Thanks

I wanted to post my answer for others to see:
The power plug worked for a little bit but then I started having the same issues again. I did a complete wipe and installed the light version of raspbian. This is now been running flawlessly for over a month. Still using my 1.9 amp plug. It seems the pi zero with all the other raspbian bits was just not powerful enough.
