I can't figure out whats up with my pihole setup. Anybody have any ideas?

Expected Behaviour:

the first time i tried setting up pi-hole i got it to work on just my laptop but i couldnt figure out how to get it working on my network since for some reason i cannot configure my router

Actual Behaviour:

I have close to 500,000 domains on my adlist but when i test the ad blocking its only peaking at 3% efficiency

You have the following active interfaces on your Pi:

*** [ DIAGNOSING ]: Name resolution (IPv4) using a random blocked domain and a known ad-serving domain
[✓] c.themoneytizer.com is 0.0.0.0 on lo (127.0.0.1)
[✓] No IPv4 address available on eth0
[✓] c.themoneytizer.com is 0.0.0.0 on wlan0 (192.168.40.55)
[✓] doubleclick.com is 172.253.124.102 via a remote, public DNS server (8.8.8.8)

Your Pi-hole is configured for eth0, but there is no address on that interface.

*** [ DIAGNOSING ]: Setup variables
    PIHOLE_INTERFACE=eth0

You will need to do one of the following:

  1. Configure the Pi-hole for the wlan0 interface (use pihole -r and select the reconfigure option), or

  2. Assign an IP address to the eth0 interface and use that as the DNS server on your network.

Okay so because im dumb i forgot to press the space bar to select lan :joy:
I loaded up the web interface and this is what's in the Pi-hole diagnosis
Warning in dnsmasq core:

ignoring nameserver 192.168.40.55 - local interface
