Expected Behaviour:
Hi all. Currently new to pihole just testing it in VM on ubuntu server all and all very pleased but one issue remains that i am unable to resolve. Example: blocked youtube (wilcarded) but at the same time want to download certain videos for consumption through youtube-dlg, as it is blocked downloading is impossible.
Question is how would i allow or what is the easiest way to allow certain applications as youtube-dlg to have access to youtube but at the same time other applications like internet browsers follow pihole policy?
Could I create a proxy on ubuntu server which hosts pihole and through that proxy interface allow un-holed internet access?
