Expected Behaviour:
ESXI 6 -> Debian VM.

Actual Behaviour:
Gravity Update should succeed without Pihole losing network access. Pings to Pihole fails. Have to reboot the VM to get Pihole working.
Debug Token:

What does pihole -g
show before the network drops?

/////Network Drops.
client_loop: send disconnect: Broken pipe
Is that repeatable, does it die at that same spot every time?
Yes. I can reproduce it all the time . Updating gravity via GUI or CLI kills the network interface and pihole
Any insights from the logs?
Sorry, it always drops with https://s3.amazonaws.com/lists.disconnect.me/simple_tracking.txt
as the list to retrieve?
And you'll need to do a new debug run, the logs are automatically deleted after a time out period.
It stopped crashing for now.
Yes.. it always loses network @
