Google Hangouts & Googe Voice Work Intermittently

Expected Behaviour:

To be able send private message via Google Hangout from all my devices. To be able to make calls from Google Voice while connected to my wifi.

Actual Behaviour:

Every since I setup my Pi-hole Google Hangouts works intermittently. Meaning sometimes I can send message to people and other times they never get sent. Also my Google Voice app will not make calls ever since the Pi-hole has be installed.

I tried white-listing some Google domains but that resulted in seeing ads again in my browsers. Please advise.
