Error: URL https://github.com/pi-hole/ftl/releases/latest/download/pihole-FTL-arm-linux-gnueabihf not found

I have edited the file and run a REGEX debugger. It has an error when I try to upload it to you, though. Is there a section you want me to analyze or copy/paste?

I did find S3 listed here:

e[32m-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 633 May 6 2018 /etc/pihole/adlists.liste[0m
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/StevenBlack/hosts/master/hosts
https://mirror1.malwaredomains.com/files/justdomains
http://sysctl.org/cameleon/hosts
https://zeustracker.abuse.ch/blocklist.php?download=domainblocklist
https://s3.amazonaws.com/lists.disconnect.me/simple_tracking.txt
https://s3.amazonaws.com/lists.disconnect.me/simple_ad.txt
https://hosts-file.net/ad_servers.txt

One extra note--and you will recognize what a newbie I am when I tell you, my logs showed all these items ending in cloudfront.net, and I blocked them to see if it would matter. Could blocking those prevent the distribution? For example: [d3jdtixm7cvu7y.cloudfront.net]

Thanks.

Now that REGEX debugging is enabled, you will need to search through the log files and find why that domain is being blocked.

Thanks for your help. I’ll try figuring it out from here, though if there is another way to obtain the update and upload locally, please advise.

Problem solved, but solution is vague. Here is what I did to resolve it:

I opened pihole -t and started logging. Then I went to github.com and tried to do a direct download of the new FTL distribution. It failed, but I found a few items that had been sent to 0.0.0.0 in the log. I whitelisted each one (there was an AWS domain, a pipe.aria item, and one that was akamaized). The system told me that they were NOT blacklisted, but it went through the motions.

Then I ran pihole -up, and it succeeded.

So I am not sure why this happened, but I'm up to date. Thanks.

If you would like, send us a new debug token so we can check your updated configuration.

Your debug log shows you are on the most recent version and Pi-hole is working properly.

yep, thanks
