@PromoFaux has some good changes to the black/whitelist function in the next release that should fix your error. Merging the black and whitelist functions to one script so these kind of bugs don't hide!

I had same issue with the whitelist. I whitelist something and only IPv4 get unblocked and IPv6 remains pi-holed.
