Does the Pihole or hosts file allow "abcdef.com"
I will try the hosts file later on.
No only the host name is allowed in the hosts file along with the address. The "file or resource" path is not allowed.

The domain on that address is "abcdef.com" and the "/acdc" is the path that is subsequently reached after you access the domain.
Pi-Hole works at the domain level, so the answer is no.
