DNS resolution unavailable - Pi-hole fresh install

I did try:

  1. pihole -r (repair)
  2. pihole -r (reconfigure)
  3. pihole -g
  4. ddg about dns errors
  5. check if no other service running - is a fresh raspi install (eg. no bind running)

Setup

Raspberry Pi2, 4.19-118-v7+

Expected Behaviour:

Finished and working installation

Actual Behaviour:

Install seems to have finished, but not internet / dns resolution.

At the end of the install:

[✗] DNS resolution is currently unavailable
[✗] DNS resolution is not available

Are there any errors in /var/log/pihole-FTL.log

Looks like it was using a bad wifi access point. I have 3 identically named and it was getting the signal from the only one which seems badly configured splitting the network (eg. guest), so pihole was isolated. Changing the wifi connections fixed, but now I need to get back and try to fix the other AP.
