Disconnecting pi hole causes network not to work

My Samsung tv won’t update when pi hole is running, so I have to turn off my raspberry pi. When I do this it causes my WiFi, eero pro, not to work as well as my wired network. I tried completely disconnecting the pi and rebooting my netgear router, but it still won’t work.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Setting up the pi and pi hole was at the top end of my “computer tech abilities”, so please talk to me like a 3rd grader. I mean my wife does, so I can handle it. lol

Thanks

You do not have to turn off the Pi. You can either whitelist the domains needed for the TV to work, or create a new management group with no blocking and assign the TV to that group.
