# Client List and client activity

I've got the clients' IP addresses and names that I use entered into the "List of configured clients" on the "Clients" page, but they don't show up on the dashboard "Client activity over last 24 hours" chart. The only entries that show up are marked "unknown". Is this normal behaviour?

Pi-hole's _Client group management_ allows you to associate specific clients with specific filtering groups.

For a client to actually use Pi-hole for DNS, you'd have to configure your router or your client.

How did you configure your router to [take advantage of Pi-hole](https://docs.pi-hole.net/main/post-install/#making-your-network-take-advantage-of-pi-hole)?
