Just installed Pi-Hole on a multi purpose platform and the default use of 'admin' as the root folder for the web admin console could be problematic depending on what else is installed.
I note there is a folder in /var/www/html called pihole. Could the admin folder be placed inside this so everything relating to Pi-Hole is in a single folder structure?
It can probably be moved around, though the admin folder is a separate repository which does not have the stuff in pihole (the latter is the block page). ATM we don't support changing the folder path, but in the future it may be possible.
Even if you renamed it 'pihole-admin' that would less the likelihood of conflicts with other web based consoles.
