I would like to ask how to block ADs without having to block the domain because it caused a lot of problems for me so I want to create my own list.
For example this site:
there are ADs at the top and the right side.
If anyone have a filter with a decent amount of domains blocked hit me up with it! The 3m+ filter made a lot of issues for me so I no longer use it.

I tried doing it but it blocked youtube video thumbnails, and I faced a lot of issues with adding domains, can you please tell me what is going on? I think I have no idea how to use it correctly but in the same sense I followed the steps in the link.

When you say "you tried doing it" what exactly did you try?
I'm not sure why YouTube videos are being blocked if you have the 'standard' install.
Id perhaps try going back to the default blocklist, by copying https://github.com/pi-hole/pi-hole/blob/master/adlists.default to your /etc/adlists.list
What I meant by "tried doing it" is that I followed the guide in your link => downloading the chrome extension that shows the domains list and whatsoever.
However, I reset it back to default and everything's OK now.
