I still get this error after trying again, I added sudo before the command and logged in as root and tried navigating to a folder within home in case it was a permission issue.

Is it failing even if you try with sudo? sudo pihole-FTL --teleporter Please upload a debug log and post just the token URL that is generated after the log is uploaded by running the following command from the Pi-hole host terminal: sudo pihole -d
