Hey. Did you have to set up ports to forward on your router by chance?
There is a guide on the GitHub wiki, and a VPN is currently the best way to remotely access your Pi-hole.

Yup. I forwarded the port. I had trouble installing both pihole and piVPN on same machine, so I installed them on different pi.
