I'm running Pi-Hole in Docker, on an Ubuntu Server VM, under ESXi, with the container having being started 4 days ago and running successfully since, after some adjustment needed to get it connected via a macvlan through the VM and the ESXi host.
All has been well. I haven't knowingly made any changes at any level of this setup, and I don't think anything at any level is set to auto update. The only other container running is Portainer, which was setup shortly after Pi-Hole.
I searched around for related topics and the overwhelming majority of ones related to 503 errors have been after updates or adjustments. I haven't made any so I created this thread. I'm new to ESXi... and Docker.... and Linux, so it's entirely possible I have either missed something or messed something up unknowingly.
